Hunter Nation Alabama Leadership
Kelby Seanor - Alabama State Director
I was born in Georgia and raised in rural Kentucky, where my passion for the outdoors began at an early age through hunting deer, dove, pheasant, and quail. My father introduced me to hunting and competitive shooting, and together with my mother, instilled in me the importance of faith, family, and respect for nature.
I bring an extensive background in the shooting sports community as a professional clay target shooter and instructor. My competitive experience includes being a multi-time member of Team USA, a 10x NSCA All-American, six Top 100 finishes at World Sporting (FITASC) Championships, and numerous clay target championships. I am also grateful to be supported by leading industry partners, including Krieghoff International, DuPont/Krieghoff, Clay Shooters Supply, and RC Cartridges. Competition shooting has introduced me to some of the greatest people from around the world who share a common passion for hunting and the outdoors.
In my previous role with the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA), I directed state-level political operations across multiple Southeastern states, overseeing legislative and campaign strategies to advance pro-Second Amendment policies. This experience has prepared me well to advance Hunter Nation’s mission and help build strong state chapters throughout the Southeast.
Today, I reside in Florida with my family. It is my goal to pass on to them the same hunting traditions, freedoms, and values that my father passed on to me.
Hunting is not just a personal passion—it is central to my family and a foundational part of America’s history. In the Southeast, hunting is a way of life that sustains our families while creating lifelong friendships and memories. That is why I am honored to represent Hunter Nation: to help create a united voice for the American hunter across the Southeastern United States and ensure these traditions endure for future generations.
