John is a husband and a father of 2 boys that loves the outdoors as much as he does. He has been a public servant since his early teens from working on campaigns, being a firefighter, coach, and taking the state director roll for Hunter Nation in early 2020.

John is a career firefighter and also continues to fight for the hunters of Pennsylvania because he knows that Hunter Nation works for all hunters and the opportunity for all. He has been involved with the Saturday deer rifle opener and Sunday hunting among other issues across the state.

His favorite thing to hunt is anything with his kids, deer, small game, ducks and pheasants. If you would like to know more about John or be a part of his team, please email Pennsylvania@hunternation.org

As 2025 comes to a close, Pennsylvania hunters reflect on a year defined by critical policy debates that shape access, wildlife management, and conservation. From protecting science-based decision making at the Game Commission to defending public land access and hunting rights, this year proved that the future of hunting is decided as much in Harrisburg as it is in the field. Looking ahead, engagement remains essential.

A Legislative Victory for American Hunters: The Pet and Livestock Protection Act of 2025 Passes Congress

By Hunter Nation

Hunter Nation is proud to celebrate a landmark victory for American hunters with the passage of the Pet and Livestock Protection Act of 2025 (H.R. 845). This historic legislation restores science-based wildlife management by delisting the recovered gray wolf and returning authority to the states—where it belongs. Championed by Congressman Tom Tiffany and Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, the bill is the result of years of relentless advocacy, expert testimony, and nationwide grassroots mobilization led by Hunter Nation. It represents a decisive stand for hunters, ranchers, and rural communities, proving that when sportsmen unite, policy can be changed and conservation can prevail.

Pheasant Hunting in Pennsylvania: A Day to Remember

By Hunter Nation

A crisp November morning at Trophy Mountain Upland Bird Hunts set the stage for a memorable group outing with Hunter Nation. Frosted fields, dense cover and skilled dog work defined the rhythm of the day, creating the kind of camaraderie upland hunters cherish. This experience unfolded against the backdrop of Pennsylvania’s long-standing pheasant-management efforts and the state’s recent shift to expanded Sunday hunting. With new Sunday opportunities now available, more hunters can join gatherings like this one, strengthening traditions and opening the door for broader participation in the upland community.
