Introducing Hunter Nation Alabama – Empowering Hunters to Protect Our Heritage

In the heart of the American South, where the traditions of hunting run as deep as the roots of our ancient oaks, a new force is rising to defend our way of life. Hunter Nation is proud to announce the formation of Hunter Nation Alabama, our newest state chapter dedicated to safeguarding the rights and heritage of Alabama's hunters. With over 150,000 hunters in the state who may sit out crucial elections, this chapter arrives at a pivotal moment to mobilize our community and ensure our voices are heard in the halls of power.

At the helm of this exciting initiative is Kelby Seanor, appointed as the Alabama State Director. Born in Georgia and raised in the rural landscapes of Kentucky, Kelby brings a wealth of experience and passion to the role. A professional clay target shooter and instructor, he has represented Team USA multiple times and earned recognition as a multi-time All-American. His background also includes directing state-level political operations for the NRA's Institute for Legislative Action across the Southeastern states, giving him a keen understanding of the legislative battles that impact hunters. Kelby is committed to bridging regional hunting communities and advancing conservation efforts. "I am honored to lead Hunter Nation Alabama and work alongside fellow hunters to protect our traditions for future generations," says Seanor. Hunter Nation Alabama is more than just an organization—it's a movement. Our chapter focuses on key issues threatening Alabama's hunting legacy, including the spread of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD), habitat loss due to urban expansion, barriers to public land access, youth hunter education programs, and encroachments on Second Amendment rights. Alabama's rich biodiversity, from the whitetail deer in the Black Belt to waterfowl in the Mobile Delta, depends on active management and advocacy. Without it, we risk losing the very ecosystems that sustain our sport.

Why now? Alabama's hunters represent a sleeping giant in the political arena. In the 2026 elections, issues like land conservation and firearm regulations will be on the ballot, and non-voting hunters could tip the scales. Hunter Nation Alabama aims to activate this base through grassroots campaigns, educational events, and voter outreach. Hunter Nation is the trusted messenger for hunters who value science-based wildlife management and constitutional freedoms.

Membership isn't just about perks; it's about impact. Your contributions help fund initiatives that promote safe hunting practices, habitat restoration, and policy advocacy. Kelby Seanor emphasizes the urgency:

"Alabama's hunters have a proud history, but threats like overregulation and habitat fragmentation demand action. Together, we can ensure our children and grandchildren inherit the same opportunities we cherish."
