Hunter Nation Hosts Sportsmen Town Hall in Pound, Wisconsin

On March 2nd, Hunters, Conservationists, and Outdoor Advocates gathered in Pound, Wisconsin for a Sportsmen Town Hall hosted by Hunter Nation and leaders from Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District. The event took place at Equity Hall Bar & Grill, bringing together hunters and policymakers to discuss the future of hunting, wildlife conservation, and the growing political influence of sportsmen across the state.

The town hall served as an opportunity for Wisconsin hunters to share their perspectives directly with elected officials and community leaders on issues impacting their outdoor traditions.

The evening featured a strong lineup of speakers and public officials committed to defending Wisconsin’s outdoor heritage. Attendees heard remarks and participated in discussions with Chris Vaughan, Wisconsin Director for Hunter Nation. Other notable attendees included Congressman Tony Wied, WI Lieutenant Governor Candidate Will Martin, District Attorney Eric Toney, Wisconsin State Senator Eric Wimberger, State Representative Jeff Mursau, and State Representative David Steffen.

Together, these leaders joined local sportsmen in a conversation about conservation policy, responsible wildlife management, and the important role hunters play in shaping public policy.

A major theme of the evening was the growing political influence of hunters and sportsmen voters. Hunter Nation emphasized how millions of hunters across the country represent one of the largest untapped voting blocs in American politics.
