Hunter Nation Applauds Launch of “Make America Beautiful Again” Commission as Nation Prepares for 250th Anniversary
July 31, 2025
MISSION, KS — Hunter Nation praised President Donald J. Trump for signing a landmark Executive Order establishing the “Make America Beautiful Again” Commission, an initiative designed to expand public access to America’s lands and revitalize wildlife conservation efforts. The announcement comes as the United States approaches its historic 250th anniversary in 2026, offering a timely and patriotic boost to outdoor traditions that define the American spirit.
The new Commission, chaired by U.S. Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum, will advise the President on how to best conserve America’s national treasures and natural resources, while reversing years of mismanagement that have restricted public access to outdoor recreational areas. Joining Secretary Burgum are key Cabinet members including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, and the heads of the EPA, OMB, CEQ, and CEA, as well as senior White House advisors.
Hunter Nation is proud to have participated in multiple round-table discussions that led up to the Executive Order and this bold initiative. This Executive Order builds on the historic legacy of the Trump administration’s outdoor policy achievements, including the Great American Outdoors Act — the most significant conservation law in a generation. That law alone has fueled a $1.2 trillion outdoor economy, supporting over five million American jobs.
“This new Commission couldn’t come at a better time and it was an honor for Hunter Nation to be part of the process,” said Keith Mark, Founder of Hunter Nation. “As we prepare to celebrate 250 years of our American freedoms, it’s appropriate to acknowledge our long connection to the great outdoors — to the land, the wildlife, and our hunting traditions that define who we are as Americans. President Trump understands that hunters and outdoor families are at the heart of that story.”
Hunter Nation Chairman Rock Bordelon stated, “Here at Hunter Nation, we pride ourselves as being the United Voice of the American Hunter. This Executive Order, which we proudly participated in, makes the American Hunter’s voice even louder.”
The Executive Order also helps implement the bipartisan EXPLORE Act, including the Range Access Act, which directs federal agencies to establish shooting ranges in underserved areas. These facilities will help expand firearm safety education and recreational access — a priority for Hunter Nation and hunters across the country.
Hunter Nation looks forward to working closely with the Commission, Congress, and its grassroots network to ensure America’s Semiquincentennial in 2026 is a true celebration of God, Family, Country, The Constitution and our Hunting Heritage.
“This is more than policy — it’s a patriotic call to action,” said Mark. “With the 250th anniversary just around the corner, we’re proud to help make America beautiful again — for hunters, our families, and for generations to come.”
