Hello, Hunter Nation family!

I'm thrilled to introduce myself as the new Faith Director for Hunter Nation, and I couldn't be more honored to step into this role. I've spent the last 37 years with a bow in my hand and a deep love for the outdoors in my heart. Many of you may recognize me as the co-host and co-producer of “Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild”. Unlike many of you, I wasn't raised in a hunting family. When Ted and I got married, I realized quickly that if I wanted to spend time with him, I'd have to join him in the woods.

So I did.

Armed with a video camera, I found myself sitting cross-legged on the red African dirt, near a water hole where zebra, kudu, impala, and warthog would hopefully wander in. Ted was across the pond in a tree with his bow — waiting. What hunters do best.

About an hour in, he climbed down and walked toward me with a look I hadn't seen before.

"Why did you get down so early?" I asked. "It's not close to sunset."

"A lion was stalking you,” he said.

Every hunter has a story to tell. Stories connect us to each other, to God’s creation, and to the values that made this country worth fighting for.

Hunter Nation exists as the voice of the American hunter. We work tirelessly at the state and national level to develop prohunting policy, protect hunting rights through litigation, and to educate hunters and nonhunters about the irreplaceable value of our hunting heritage.
